1.2 Location Data
- Location Information: We access and collect your device's location data (both precise and approximate) when you file an issue in the app. This location data is used to determine your County and Constituency (e.g., Langata, Nairobi) to ensure your issue is escalated to the relevant government office, such as your local Member of Parliament or Governor.
- We only store the County and Constituency information, not your exact coordinates or address.
- Location data is only collected when you actively use the issue reporting feature and is not accessed or collected at any other time.
1.3 Usage and Interaction Data
- App Usage: We collect information about your interactions with the App, such as the pages you visit, features you use, and the content you view.
- Device and Log Information: Data including device type, operating system, IP address, and log data (e.g., access times, error logs) are collected to enhance performance and security.
- Cookies and Similar Technologies: We may use cookies and similar tools to gather non-personal information to improve user experience.
1.4 App Permissions Data
- Audio Data: With your permission, we may access your device's microphone for voice input features.
- Biometric Data: If you enable biometric authentication, we access biometric information for secure login purposes for your account.
- Bluetooth: We may use Bluetooth connectivity for certain features and notifications.
- Notifications: With your permission, we send push notifications about various in-app features, updates or relevant information.
- Internet Access: Required for core app functionality, including data synchronization and access to online features.
- Device Functions: We may access device functions such as vibration for alerts and notifications.

- AI Interactions: Interactions with AI-powered features (e.g., chat widgets for legislative documents or political profiles) may be logged to improve service quality.
- Content Submissions: Any content you submit (e.g., issue reports, comments, ratings) is stored and may be used for display, analysis, and community engagement purposes.

- To Provide and Improve the App: Data is used to deliver personalized content, enhance user experience, troubleshoot issues, and improve App functionality.
- To Facilitate Civic Engagement: Information helps connect citizens with government representatives, track issues, and provide AI-powered insights for better understanding of legislative and financial documents.
- Location-Based Services: Your location data is used specifically to route your issue reports to the appropriate government representatives based on your County and Constituency.
- Analytics and Research: We use aggregated and anonymized data for analytical purposes to monitor trends and improve the App.
- Communication: We may use your email address or in-app notifications to send updates, newsletters, or information about changes to our policies or services.
- Compliance and Security: Data is used to ensure the security of the App, comply with legal obligations, and enforce our Terms of Use.

- Third-Party Service Providers: We share your data with trusted third-party vendors (e.g., Firebase, Google Cloud Platform, AI service providers) solely for operational purposes. These providers are bound by confidentiality agreements.
